Social Media Passion Turns into Big Impact….Could this be you?

Updated: 7 days ago

Month: September 2020

Mamie Neely began volunteering with On Eagles Wings and Youth4Abolition℠ three years ago with a desire to make a difference. Mamie works in social media marketing and matched her passion to help those that are trafficked by volunteering to serve as Social Media coordinator for Youth4Abolition℠. Mamie expertly worked over the last three years to develop the Y4A Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as supporting us through the development of our youth leader featured video series “This Is Not Me, but it Could Be” on our YouTube channel. We are so grateful for her years of service.

As a busy mom and social media marketing manager, Mamie is “retiring” from her Y4A role. We are currently looking for a volunteer to serve in the role of Youth4Abolition℠ Social Media Coordinator.

Do you have experience leading awareness through social media? Do you believe in making a difference to stop Human Trafficking? Y4A is looking for a volunteer to help us further develop Y4A social media presence through serving as a member of our team as Y4A Social Media Coordinator.

Interested? Volunteers interested should send a cover letter and resume to Cindy@Youth4abolition.com by September 11th.

Former Y4A Youth Chapter President Selected as Panel Member for Shared Hope International Webinar in September

Youth4Abolition ℠ not only brings awareness of the realities of Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking (DMST) to thousands of youth and their communities but is proven to be stalwart in developing strong leaders. Time and time again we get affirmation that our chapter leaders take our message and their leadership skills to new levels.

Tatyana Gonzalez, recent Olympic High School Y4A Chapter president and now college freshman, is one prime example. Shared Hope International, a partner and leader in the fight again DMST, will feature Tatyana as panel member in their upcoming national Online Internet Safety Webinar Series on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 7-8:00 pm EST.

Stay tuned for more information to be found on our Y4A social media/website.

We are so proud of our Y4A student leaders. Way to go Tatyana!
