OEW Holds 2nd Freedom for Every Child Breakfast

Month: November 2019

OEW held a fundraising breakfast at Project 658 on October 23. It was a morning of fellowship and sharing the stories and mission of On Eagles Wings and the successes of Youth4Abolition™. Guests were able to hear about the work of OEW in fulfilling their mission of preventing girls from falling victim to sex trafficking, offering assistance to those still trapped, and restoring those that have survived by offering hope, empowerment, and a brighter future.

Youth4Abolition™ also shared the uplifting message of the growth of Y4A chapters across our community as more of the youths in our community are teaching their peers about the realities of human trafficking. Members of the Olympic High School Youth4Abolition™ chapter attended the breakfast and shared their stories. Seeing these kids actively engaged in the battle against human trafficking served as a source of inspiration to all in attendance.

We are pleased to announce that breakfast attendees met a match challenge from a generous donor and doubled their giving for the morning!

Thank you to all who helped us achieve this milestone for additional funding. A special thanks for Kristi O’Connor from WBTV for serving as our emcee for this impactful event.
