Youth4Abolition℠ (www.youth4abolition.com) had an amazing 2020 despite the hurdles that we faced. Continued growth, seamless transition to the virtual platform, our first national exposure, among other things.
● Continued growth including number of clubs, club members and youth/community members reached.
● Seamless transition of club meetings from physical to a virtual or hybrid format.
● Increased focus on on-line predators and virtual victimization.
● Expansion into high-risk youth prevention and awareness e.g. girls transitioning from foster care.
● First national exposure with youth leader serving on a Shared Hope Internet Safety webinar.
● Launched a new cutting-edge website housing information about Youth4Abolition, our digitized copyrighted Y4A curriculum and a multitude of resources on Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking. www.youth4abolition.com
As for 2021….we have BIG plans! National Human Trafficking Awareness is in January and on January 9 th , 2021, Y4A will host its annual Pancakes4Freedom Drive-Thru/Virtual Awareness event with student leaders and human trafficking experts.
